The Wellness Diary is about sharing information. A place created for readers to expand their knowledge about health and well-being, while providing ways that they can enhance their state of well-being.

At the core, “wellness” is defined as a state of being in good health. Although this is true, I believe wellness to be so much more dynamic than that.
Having multiple dimensions, the National Institute of Wellness describes wellness as, “… self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential.”
The Wellness Diary was created with the goal to provide practical information that is regarded as beneficial in attaining an elevated state of wellness. Although the term “wellness” is thought to be the one dimensional state of being in good health, or illness-free. Here, “wellness” refers to an ever-changing, dynamic process of learning new information with the intention to increase one’s well-being.
Whether, it is learning a new exercise skill, beginning a new vitamin regime, or learning about which foods are best for you. Wellness, in my opinion is about learning and doing new things that have a positive intentional effect on one’s health, i.e wellness.
I have always enjoyed reading and writing, my notebook pages are filled with quotes, words & definitions, random lists, and many “wellness tips”, which is useful information I’ve found to be helpful and convenient.
With all this information in different places and sometimes scribbled down, it became a little unorganized and hectic. There were the pages of my journals, notes in my phone, untitled page documents and countless web addresses & blog names jotted down. I decided to compile all the information I found to be helpful into one organized and convenient space.
I hope you find the content of this blog meaningful and more importantly, helpful on your journey to attaining a more sound state of being, a state of “Wellness”.
The Wellness Diary
Sincerely,
C.
